Steve is a start-up veteran and engineering executive who led the original hardware design that became the Symbotic warehouse order fulfillment system, which IPO'd in 2022.  Steve went on to co-found his own mobile robotics company, NextShift Robotics, that was acquired in 2021. Recently, he was Chief Engineering Officer at Wonder, a food-tech start-up in NYC where he worked with Marc Lore of Jet.com/Walmart. 

Steve is currently CTO at Tri-Star Design, an advanced technology product design firm near Boston, MA, specializing in robotics, medical, and military product design. He is also co-founder and head of JASCI Robotics, focusing on the automation of warehouses and logistics.  Steve also runs 251 Ventures, a consultancy that advises companies and investors on technical due diligence, product development, design feasibility, market fit, and strategy.

Steve holds many patents and a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University - go Huskies!
